Hi there, I am new to the site and to the process for surgery. I am very curious if anyone else is enrolled in the University Health Network program with Toronto Western Hosp & St. Michael's? They are the one's that referred me to this site...and I was hoping to meet a few people who are currently in the process, or have gone through this particular program?

Thanks for welcoming me Lori! I am eager to learn lots in preparation for my surgery, and meet a bunch of great people I would otherwise have not have had the pleasure of meeting.

Hi Toni , IM 2 weeks post op and went through Toronto Western , if you have any questions dont be afraid to ask

Surgery Date - AUGUST 22, 2011 - Ran first 5KM Race - Oct 14, 2012 (28 min) - Currently maintaining a healthy 190 lbs and training for my first half marathon in the summer of 2013

Hi Toni! I'm Melissa and I'm also going through Toronto Western! Actually, my time line looks very similar to yours so I won't be surprised if we bump into each other at some point!

I'm going for my nutrition class this Tuesday!
