So impatient!!

 I met the surgeon 20 days ago, and still no phone call :( Agh I feel awful, I hate leaving my house (even more then I normally do) Iv been avoiding everyone I know and it's really starting to get to me..I got out today but all I think about is "when is the call is going to come?" Any suggestions to help me think about something else? How long did some of you wait from Hamilton St. Joes??

How long did they tell you to expect before hearing from them??  If it is past that time I would give them a call to see if eveything is on track.  I know what you mean about impatient.  I could have my surgery in November but for family reasons have to delay until Feb...I hate that I have to delay things.  The trick I am trying to use is to tell myself to use that extra time to my advantage.  I am reading reading reading, trying to establish better habits (3 meals a day, drinking 2L/day, gradually increasing exercising, starting to journal food etc) so that I can at least feel the wait is constructive :)

I wasn't givin a time of any sort, and I really hate to call Krista because I know she doesn't book them but i'm losing it over here Iv been doing all the stuff you suggested for some time now, i'm already in the habit of it all, maybe that's why i'm so bored! I'm sorry to hear about your wait time, hope all goes well with whatever you are dealing with and that your family is well, thanks for the reply!

I got my call within a couple of days.  I would give them a call tomorrow.  I'm sure you should have gotten the call by now.

I had my surgeon meeting on the 26th of May, and didn't hear from her until late June for July date.  It all depends on OR times and staffing.  It was a killer wait for me too.

I feel for you Jessie.  I think I am almost as anxious as you are!  Wouldn't hurt to give the clinic a call just to see where they are in their bookings.  Keep your chin up girlfriend and let me know the minute you hear something.  Thinking of you.

Just get busy doing other things in your life. Knock out some things that need to be done before surgery, make sure you have the best head-start as possible.

Even at 8 months wait, it can be frustrating. I'm coming up on close to 2 years wait.  Just be patient and don't try to drive yourself crazy over it.
