Um...newbie here, what is a Panni?

I apologize for the ignorance, but I have read a few posts about people getting plastic surgery for their Panni's.... and I swear to god when I first read the word Panni, I thought it said "Panini"...and then my brain rejected the definition...lol

Just in case i am not the only one wondering -- could someone explain what a Panni is...

It's the excess skin on your tummy that hangs down.

technical name is a panniculetomy - abdominoplasty surgery to remove the excess skin left from the tummy.  not to be confused with a tummy tuck - they're different.

Usually it means 'panniculectomy' which is the plastic surgery sometimes covered by OHIP to remove the excess skin on the lower abdomen (below the bellybutton) that many people have after weight loss.

It is sometimes covered if you have grooming issues or constant skin infections after the fat is out of the pouch and the skin hangs down like an empty apron.
