I agree, Patrice is amazing... finally got to speak with her today... hopefully things will be sorted out soon.

One problem I seem to run into with "younger" staff, as they are a tad less organized, a tad less mature, and on the whole... they give off a more self-involved attitude... like they are only here to collect a paycheck.

It's not fair to label all "younger" staff like that, I realize (especially since I hated being stereotyped when I was younger), but there seems to be a whole generation of 20 somethings coming into the workforce who just don't give a damn about professionalism.

Wow.... just saying that makes me sound old. LOL. Well, old or not, it's the truth!

I had problems with no one returning my calls, so i emailed the patient relations department on a sunday afternoon and received replies from them and the unit manager early the next morning and spoke with the manager the same day. This may be faster than the ombudsman.

Charolli, that's a good idea... and one to keep in mind for sure! Thanks!

I can see how that would be frustrating. Yours is an excellent example of why people need to call to figure out where they stand. It would be great if they had a secure system that you could log into and recover the inffo you need to make sure your case is progressing.
