Yes Toni!!! Just the news I was hoping to see today! My appointment is with Dr. Jackson on November 25th! So the week before!

Thanks! I'm pretty happy about it. Originally they offered Nov 18th at a different site...TEG, but I requested TWH.,..so then they offered Nov 25th, but I had a conflict with something at work, so I ask if they had anything Dec 2nd and YAY! They did! :)

Heehee! I turned down the Nov 18th at TEGH too! Oh shame you couldn't do Nov 25! We may have been able to have surgery on the same day!

I'm actually going to request a January surgery,
so I can get full pay from my job while I am off.
(My sick time refreshes in the new year)

Good idea! There's a lot to be said for having surgery after the holidays - that's what I'm leaning towards right now.

When they gave me the November 25th date they told me that my surgery would likely be in Janaury so I think you should be good Toni!

Yep, I'm with you - if they offer me another site, I'm going to ask for the next available date at TWH. (My progress has been delayed for 3 weeks through someone's incompetence, as I just learned, but no sense getting angry; what's done is done and it's been taken care of now & the surgeons should finish reviewing my file this week (they already looked at it on Oct 12!) so I'm really hoping to hear from them soon with an appt to come up there to meet with the doc.

Toni, Dec 2 will be here SO fast, your head will spin - LOL!

congrats! I met with dr. Jackson on friday! I'm booked for surgery on the 19th of december! Eeeeeek....I am so excited!

I met with Dr. Jackson on Friday, too! You must have seen him just before me? I'm booked for surgery Dec.21st.
How do you feel having it so close to the Xmas holiday? I just want it over with...but a little nervous because after XMas, I'm suppossed to move around mid-January.
I'm excited...but I'm kind of freaking out now...because its so close and the time will fly by and then...BAM...my life is changed forever in a very fundamental way.
How are you feeling about your upcoming surgery?
