Hey All - I have been nervous to wear jeans, thinking it will mess with my stomach.

How long post op before you should wear jeans?

I had a pair of stretch denium with an elastic waist. I wore them less than 1 week after surgery.

I haven't yet tried on tailored pants.

as long as they're not tight on your belly, you should be fine, Harold. If you're uncomfortable, take them off. (not in public)

lol.. it is cold out, Tracey! in the summer, hey, do what you want, but man, i'd hate for him to get frostbit in those sensitive areas.

I second what Monica says, and just remember, if they are not tight at all, they may come off in public advertently.    Then you will have people talking!!

I am almost 3 weeks post-op and just put on my jeans Saturday. It's whatever makes you comfortable. My jeans sit below the incisions but when I sit down, I pull them over them as they seem to be sitting right on them if I don't. No pain, just a little bothersome. Give it a try and if you're not comfortable, wear something that is!

LOL ladies! You guys crack me up! I agree, nothing too loose as you don't want them around your ankles in winter! A long coat can save you!
