Moving Centres

Ok I just have a couple questions that I hope someone can answer for me.
I spoke with Linda from Guelph today and she is transferring my paperwork or whatever it is to HRRH.
I am wondering if anyone else has changed centres? Can you tell me what happens. I hadn't done anything with Guelph (their waiting list from refferal to orientation is 16 months).
How long does it take for the transfer? Do I start over on the list, or does it go from my original referral date?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how it works, but HRRH goes very quickly! (From my experience, and 3 of my friends)..they have all had surgery, I am just going through my appts right now :) Good luck!

 I was originally at Guelph and I had them move my file to TWH and I got called with 2 months for orientation......so not sure how that works....my original referral was May 20th and I switched centres sometime in June and got a letter in the mail the end of July for orientation Aug. 2nd.  My surgery is next Wednesday, but I was willing to drive to Toronto for individual appointments and called weekly to see if there were any cancellation so it expedited my wait time by months.  Good Luck with the process it is worth it!!

Lol Ha! Make sure you have your second breakfast of protein! Pippin loves 2nd breakfast!

 MMMM second breakfast........  breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner and supper, now if I could just learn that they dont all have to be chocolate cake!! (JK for those who went into judgement mode immediately)
