I love this one cause I was told 2 weeks after surgery. I thought that was awesome since I couldn't drive before

I think it is two weeks
They want to make sure all the drugs are out of your system and I think it takes some time to move around properly because of pain.
That was over 6 years ago for me, things may have changed

When I bought my daughter her first pair of shoes at about 10 months I asked if she'd be able to walk with them, they said yes, I said good because she didn't before. They didn't even crack a smile, but I laughed all the way home. I crack myself up sometimes, lol.

Theoretically, I could have driven when the drugs cleared my system but given that I couldn't lift anything heavier than 5 pounds and my purse at my first pre-op appointment weighed 4.8 pounds (a friend being very helpful by pointing that out to me by putting it on the clinic scale...last laugh on her - she had to carry my big binder for rest of the day!) I waited a while longer. Opening and closing the car door was over my limit and seatbelt and incisions were a bit tricky.
