Pain and soreness during pre op liquid diet

I'm now on day 6 of the optifunk and I am still feeling a soreness and some pain in my front (belly and abdominal area and also extends to the sides)

I've had this for around 3 days now, it feels like I've been either ab crunching or was kicked in the front area the night before.

It's not a severe or debilitating pain, but it's enough to notice and be an annoyance.

Is this normal during this stage? I'm drinking as much as I can, taking my vitamins and doing mild exercise (walking and some Xbox Kinect low impact exercise). I've lost now 13 pounds as of this am weigh in and this is day 6 of optifunk.

Thanks

Darren

Just a thought, but maybe because it's making your lose weight...... when I start to lose weight my ribs ache like sore muscles, and I think it's because my ribs are losing the weight that has been pushing them out.
Don't laugh, but thought maybe it's something like that.

I do sleepwalk! One of my greatest fears after surgery is to eat something solid on the liquid stage :o

I've been known to make a sandwich (odd ones apparently) while sleep walking.

Example: honey, pickle, and radish sandwich. How did I know? Half of it was on the counter when I woke up in the a.m and my mouth tasted like a bee got into a fight with a garden. Ugh!

Too funny.

I was on a sleeping aid that, unbeknownst to me, could cause sleep walking.  WELL!  One morning I awoke to find sugar free/flour free peanut butter cookies on my counter. Apparently, I had been SLEEP BAKING!  Never took that pill again. LOL

Haaa!  I know, right?  And it didn't look as though I had eaten any.  Just baked them. LOL

My doctor FREAKED when he found out that I did that, took me off them immediately and told me to tell my boyfriend to lock the bedroom door. hahaha
