Good for you Marny.  I love skating.  Get yourself some rollerblades for summer as well if your girls are old enough to do it.  It is a ton of fun to do.  I used to go rollerblading in Springbank park in London and you could skate for miles and miles.  We have ****ty trails up here but I still have my skates in case they ever make a better place to skate on.

hmmm....roller blades.  My last memory of rollerbladding was seeing the pavement from a very close vantage point.  Somehow falling on ice is a little less intimidating than concrete.  But maybe I will give it a try again sometime.  :)  They actually have some nice, paved waterfront trails here in Mississauga, so...maybe.

If rollerblading is difficult, try rollerskates - you know, the old fashioned 2x2 kind.  I can't rollerblade at all, but I can rollerskate!  It feels a lot more secure for me (and a lot easier on the ankles) having the wheels 2x2 instead of 4 in a line.

Rollerskates aren't really easy to find, but I ordered mine online.  I haven't done it in a few years because I've gotten so big that I can't do it easily anymore, but it's one more thing I look forward to doing when I lose weight!
