So I have been speaking with Jacqueline Kelly, Administrative Assistant at the Ontario Bariatric Registry....just so you know, this info IS legit....

Since I am already in the TWH program, and I am already post-op, once I have finished all my 3 Month Post-op appointments; the registry will approve my transfer to the Sudbury Clinic for the rest of my follow ups. I will still need to travel to TWH for follow-up Surgeon appointments, but thats ok with me.

I'm so happy, and I wanted to share!

If you are someone in the same predicament as me, and would like to speak with Jacqueline about a transfer for yourself...send me a personal message and I will send you her contact info.

That is great news Toni, I am glad that you finally heard back from Jacqueline at the Registy. I couldn't understand how we were given different info

You can transfer at any time, but it may delay your process depending on how far along you are.

Glad you will be able to be followed closer to home Toni. Now all they have to do is get their **** together so people can get the travel grant for travelling there. LOL

Nope, definitely not. Surgery will have to be done in Southern Ontario.
