Your not corny at all. Being positive, happy, content with your life is great. Your making the change to improve yourself. Wishing yourself a Happy Birthday is something everyone should try. Why not?

It's not corny that you posted this. Each and every one of us is special and deserving of love and attention. I find as an obese person I feel uncomfortable being the centre of attention-but that is wrong- our physical appearance should not dictate our worthiness.
