Since I am not a Doctor, I can't tell you everything will be Ok, but I can tell you that I will say a Special Prayer for you.

I suggest you talk to your Family Doctor, who should be able to give you answers.

Wishing you all the best,

Cammie

Again, as I am not a doctor - I can't tell you it will be OK either.  But, I can tell you there are lots of people in your life and on this board that will be with you, no matter the outcome.

The only piece of advice I can give is to ask to be put on the cancellation list to see the doctor before the end of April.

Stay strong, rely on family and friends - that is what they are there for.

Take care and keep us posted.

Leona

What is happening to you is frightening....but you are a strong smart woman....and between you and the doctors you will get to the bottom of this....hopefully sooner rather than later

Its the not knowing that's the worst.....been there....understand your feelings....

I truly hope all will be OK...

Barb

Edited because OKNEE took the original post for this thread down, and I referred to some of the info in that opening post, so I am editing it out of my post out of respect for her privacy.

But this was in my original post, and it stands, with much support:

BTW, I disagree with you on one thing - your post definitely belongs here! Best of luck, and please keep us updated.

Referral to registry: Oct 21, 2011    Orientation (TWH): Feb 22, 2012     Surgery: Nov 7, 2012

My "intellectual self" completely agrees with you - if there was something of more significant concern they wouldn't be waiting to get you in, particularly given Sunnybrooke's reputation.  It may be possible that a bit of "belts AND suspenders" testing is going on to cover every eventuality given your history of mis-adventures with prior testing and your surgery.

My emotional self is incredibly sympathetic to what you must be going through.  As a "take action" kind of person, the waiting in the unknown is without question the absolute WORST!  I might consider trying to call your Doctor's office and running through your situation with the nurse - emphasising that this is adding tremendously to your stress, which is not good - and asking if there is any way around the wall of silence?  Some people are happier staying in the dark, others need to know what is going on - and I think they are beginning to realize that from a patient care standpoint.

"Poor me" is very reasonable under these cir****tances.  Keep posting!  After all the help you have given to so many on here, it's the least we can do!

My very best wishes
Claire

You're surely in my thoughts and prayers!  Positive thinking is important!  I would also call my family doctor and see if he/she has answers.

sending lots of positive energy your way, Leona. I have no experience with this, so can't tell you it'll be ok.

what i do know is that you're an incredibly strong woman, and you can fight this fight.

Hugs.
