I have been going through my closet & spare clothes bins trying to purge the "too big for me"

items and add the "almost there"

items.

When I saw my saggy butt in the glass reflection of a store window on the weekend, and I was actually embarassed at how baggy my pants were... I looked like I was wearing someone else's clothes! It was so surreal! So I decided first thing Monday... i was going through the bins and getting rid of clothes that are now too big.... THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!

Anyway, long story short -- for ****s and giggles I decided to try on a pair of size 18 jeans... just to see how far I was from fitting them.... THEY FIT!

I sat down and cried.
Then I called my Mom.
Then I texted the hubby.

I haven't worn these jeans in 5+ years....wow....

Love my RNY.

Isn't it the greatest feeling? I almost lost it when I fit into a 18 Boxing day. I went from please please fit - not gonna fit to OMG they were too big and had my hubby get me a smaller size. Now fit into a 14 dress pant still can't believe it. Have tostop myself from looking at the oversize clothes. Especially with pants. Have enough wrinkles in my naked baggy butt will not wear baggy pants anymore!

Isn't it so exciting Toni!

I just went through my closet and pretty much gave away most items... but of course needed to buy a new wardrobe... I love Laura's ( can transition nicely from size X in Plus to XL-L in regulars) I had more fun just trying on clothes... this is just so such a hardship shopping "wink wink" I really cannot think of anything I would rather do as long as it's a good deal... I am the queen of deals bought... $115 jeans for $19.99 and my best deal was a pair of black dress pants at the Sears outlet store for wait for it $3.00... yahoooo ... I ran out of the store yelling to David start the car, start the car! LOL
