Thanks for sharing this Tracey! That's actually something I hadn't heard before. I will definitely keep that in mind....I've only been consuming between 750-850 calories per day lately.

For 750 to 850 calories you should be aiming for 56 to 63 grams of carbs if you follow the 40/30/30 rule. I never followed that rule as I didn't want my carbs that high. Not sure what TWH recommends but pretty sure I have seen others post they want them following that rule.
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one suffering from the brain fog as I call it. I want my brain back damn it!
I'm two and a half weeks out and my mental acquity is drastically lessened. I'm right on track for the 40/30/30 for my carbs and am up to about 300-500 calories a day so far. I thought it would improve as I was able to eat more (hooray pureed meat lol), but it hasn't been the case.
Hopefully our brains haven't permanently deserted us and we can go back to being our smart, efficient, quick-witted selves.
