Sounds like he is going through a lot of stress. I know my work is very important to my self esteem and self worth.

Remember sex can be just sex, not always intimacy. It is easy to confuse the two. Seems like you both need a break. If he wants to be with you, he will.

You know, instead of having a 'normal-ish life' with him, you can find a great life with someone else.

Sounds like he's on a sinking ship, and you'll thank him one day for putting you in a lifeboat before he drowns.

You got your surgery to have a normal life. Not stay in a relationship with someone who's depressed, not living life to the fullest and doesn't love you. I would be really sad for you if you stayed with him.

Think of this as the universe telling you to go out and grab better for yourself. Life is hard enough, you need to be with someone who makes it easier for you, not harder!

Leanne, I am so sorry...you do deserve to be happy and someone who treats you right! That person will come along, but in the meantime you have to be strong and think about yourself.  I realize it is a difficult time to be happy...but you deserve to.

Things will turn out ok....
