Post Op- do you ever feel like.....
You would think I was made of sugar by how much I avoided swimming... I LOVE SWIMMING!!! D:
And yes going out dancing, etc.
And running....I always loved track and field, etc. I want to start running after I drop some lbs. I tried many times, early in the morning....still got harassed by jerks (drive-by-rudeness).
I wanna be the fit minx in the spandex dammit!

Then those same drive-by jerks will make sexist catcalls and crap like that. I find a middle finger to be a satisfying response.
As Karen M. said in another thread, you can't fix stupid. :)

OMG YES. I love rollercoasters and scary rides! I miss them a lot. I'm not sure if my stomach can handle them these days though - but I can't wait to try!

Oh Marny, you have to make it your mission to go dancing! It's hard for me too because all my friends have hubbies & kids and I work shift work. But I went and danced and my friends and sister couldn't believe it. My sister said "I thought you hated dancing?!" I told her I hated dancing at 280lbs, but even now, it's so much easier and actually fun. I used to dance up a storm when I was in my teens and 20's and I actually forgot why I did it. I remember now.
The rest of my bucket list is simple: roller coasters at Wonderland (woo hoo!), cross my legs, wear khaki's that aren't all bunched up (i fo9nmd my old pair and I can't wait to get in them), be able to run at least 1 or 2 full laps around the nearby track (without puking anyway)...those are a few. Nothing too fancy. Once I get a little farther perhaps I will think bigger.

Marny, you have inspired us to make bucket lists! Or atleast you have inspired me to ponder what sort of things would be on my own list.
I absolutely agree with you, I have passed up many different invites/etc due to my weight, but every day I feel more confident and open to new things.
I can't wait to sit down and blog/write/brainstorm about a WLS Bucket list! What a fabulous idea!
