So, I did it. I went to a hip-hop class, had a ton of fun....not going to lie, I had very little funk in me with an audience around, but I tried and I had a ton of fun. I think I will go again next week with a little more confidence, a smidge more swagger, and I will work on my groove "fo' sure."

It's in there, I just have to let it out. Maybe next week, I'll bust out the baggy sweat pants (and roll one leg up to my knee of course), some gold chains, and a baseball cap with a hoodie. That would make me feel more the part. Hahahaha!

Good for you! After seeing a friend perform in her university hip hop dance group years ago, I always thought that would be so much fun. I'd have joined you yesterday, but it was a little too far away for me to get to. :)
