Morning all, I was up in the night to go pee and a small walk, took some pain meds at 2 am but haven't needed anymore since (so far)  I was able to pass some gas through the night and I think that has help so much.
Crushed meds are gross, lol but I have chewable vits and B12 so they aren't bad.
My tummy doesn't like crystal lite, even wasted down, but will try a different kind, because that kind was pink lemenade....

So happy for you Brenda!! I noticed that you adjusted your ticker, too cool!! it's gonna move so freaking fast it'll make your head spin.

I'm glad you're feeling well, keep doing the right things, you know what to do. Any questions, you know to come here and ask, and when to call in the experts (WLS team) instead of us 'yahoos'.

Welcome home Brenda! Glad to see you are home, I bet it was nice to sleep in your own bed and no IVs, moniters!

I agree with the crushed meds and I can't stand the liquid tylenol I got at the hospital pharmacy. It's cherry ! I think I would have to be pretty sick before I broke down and took that!

Welcome home Brenda!  And welcome to the bench!

Even though it's crystal light, pink lemonade is acidic.  Ones I like are the tangerine grapefruit, raspberry and iced tea.  But I'm up to watering it down one little pouch to 2L of water, especially for the Raspberry as it is very sweet and strong tasting.I agree with teh crushed meds, and they are hard to hide, I tried.  Only thing I didn't try was SF Jam, but not sure how that would go either.

Enjoy your new you!

Cathy

Good for you.  Sounds like your recovery is going well so far.  It is really trial and error on drinks and food the first couple of months.  Enjoy the journey.
