Funny you should mention that. I keep pausing and asking myself....Is this my new addiction? Shopping, walking etc. lol So far I have not become work out obsessed but there is always hope
lol
I only step on the scale once a week, but if it becomes I problem I will take it to my Mom's.
Thanks

Sadly, that does make me feel better. Misery loves company? Here's hoping we have a nice drop next week. Thanks for letting me know.

Hang in there newbies! I am having the same issue - usually over 100g of protein a day - about 25g of fat and about 25g of carbs a day. All water and vits. I have hit the dreaded 3 wk stall as well - losing 15 lbs on 10 days of Optifast and 31 lbs in total. I was 3 wks out yesterday. Keep on keepin on....
OMG!! this has been so helpful!!!
I am due to start my Pre-Op this summer (date TBA) and I am constantly seaching for menus such as you have done.
I am wondering do you write everything you eat on paper or use a computer.
I would love you to send me some more of these fantastic menus!!!!! I love it!!
Keep up the great work!

Thanks!
I write the times and amounts in my journal. Then I input it all into my body bug online program. I just make sure that the nutrition info on packages matches up with the measurements and the computer so I can feel confident in the values.
This is what the computer looks like, except at the bottom it shows a pie chart breakdown of protein, carbs and fats

Hi Heather,
I'm curious about your calcium chews. are they calcium citrate, and if so, where did you get them? i'm having a hard time getting all my calcium in, and would so appreciate having some chewables to throw in the mix.
As for the weight loss, I think you're doing all the right things, and that'll only bring you success. includimg you're opti phase, to date, it seems that you're averaging 5 lbs a week. that's phenomenal!

Hi there. Thanks for your encouraging words.
I ordered the chews online from www.celebratevitamins.com/ along with a bunch of multivitamins. It is "Calcet citrate" Creamy bites. Each piece has 500mg calcium citrate and 400iu of D3.
They have chocolate and lemon and I liked the flavours of each. They taste like a treat to me, I'm saving them for after the puree phase but when I went camping on the weekend, I took those with me since they are individually packed and travel better than liquid.
OMG!! I just checked the site and they have new celebrate brand soft chews, 60 for $11.75 in flavours like caramel. YUM. That will be my next order. The only downside is that they have less calcium than the others, only 250mg per chew.
