Ouch, Marny! I can only imagine how awful that felt!
I would have been so afraid that they would have to surgically remove those little buggers from my stoma! I always wondered if stories like that were really true or just a scare tactic. Thanks for sharing your misadventure with us - now I know that it really does happen. I'm surprised that it can happen so long after your surgery was done. Well, the bright side is that you sure won't forget to chew, chew, chew & it sounds like your love affair with Timbits is kaput! Way to go though on the amazing workout - you rock, Marny!!!

Hi Marny,
Glad you're ok. Timbits are evil, and you have survived their evilness to tell the tale! Way to go on all that exercise too, very inspiring.
Have a great weekend.

wow glad your ok. Your energy level is amazing,I especially liked that your daughter came along for the bike ride. Your showing such great habits for her. Maybe Hubie can get the coffee next time :). I still struggle with the drive through Tim's. I have intention of getting just the coffee but end up buying one tim bit, good reason to stop. Have a great weekend. Diane

surgery done in Duluth, MN
I made a similar booboo at our local timmies not too long after my surgery. I completely had a brain lapse and ordered a milk with a straw (I don't drink coffee or tea) and sucked that baby back in just a few minutes. The second I was done with my straw still hanging out of my face I realized that first off the straw itself was a major no no and as far as **** milk - yikes! Within about 20 minutes my friend was driving me home with my head between my legs kissing my behind good bye!! It was the most horrible feeling...but I learned!!
