It is in reality, no time to relax ! You are doing great, but you have just begun. Don't back off yet. You are on a roll and your goal is in site. Enjoy the journey, every little victory, but keep the ultimate goal in mind. The mind is a powerful tool. If you tell yourself you are happey where you are, you will stay there. If YOU REALLY WANT IT you will make it to goal.

I 100% agree with that statement Deb, and I know in my heart that I REALLY WANT IT... and I KNOW I am willing to do what it takes to make it happen... for once in my life, I AM NOT going to give up on myself...

Good for you Toni! I know that most of us have lost & gained so many times over the years. But this is different. It is the chance to make it happen. But we can never lose sight of the possibility of settling or regain.

I had my 2 year check up last week ( a bit late), my nutritionist at TWH told me that the success rate for the program is measured by patients losing 50% of their excess weight. In my mind that is a very low. I wanted to lose 100% + & my goal is to keep it off. My point is this is a life long commitment. It is very doeable but not without a lot of effort. The first several months in hind sight are easy to loose weight..... keeping it off is the key.

Keep telling yourself that this time it is different and that you can and will do it. I tell myself that every day!

Congrats on the renewed resolve.  I think it is good to be reflective and to question ourselves on this journey. It's amazing what we can discover about ourselves.

Plus you also look amazing.  Keep smiling!

Been there done that. I started to become complacent with my weight after a weight loss program and I decided I could control my eating and you know what happened.

I looked in the mirror and although I had not reached my goal weight, I had reached a place I had been before and was happy at.

Anyway, I started to lose control and within a few months I had put the weight on and plus plus plus.

It is great that you recognize this in yourself and are ready to take control.

Good for you. Climb back on that wagon and take control.

Best Wishes.

Thank you Debra! Nothing helps as much as going on this site, sharing your experience and finding others who completely understand because they have been there, done that. Thank you for sharing!

OMG!!     Right at this moment YOU are my inspiration. Your post reflects exactly how I've been acting and feeling. Something brought me to this website today and reading your post gave me an overwhelming feeling of devine intervention.  I've been stalled at my weight for months, and after reading your post, I'm off to ramp up my exercise and watch my intake more closley.  You look so happy as am I with my loss to date and I seemed to find myself comfortable with how I look and now I am going to make myself not only comfortable but I want to move into a place that I've never been in my life... Slim, healthy and totally happy with myself

Thank you for making my day

Well, Arlene... you just made MY day! So glad you were able to draw some inspiration from my post!

Sometimes it's just weird how we find exactly what we never knew we were looking for!

Rock on girl!
