stubborn tape marks from RYN...

so I let the steri strip tape fall off in the shower, as directed, but had aome pretty stubborn tape marks around the incisions that were not pleasant to look at! I tries srubiing them but was scared of opening the wound, so went easy.
When I was at my pre op time at St Mikes for this week's gall bladder removal I asked the nurse what to do. She looked around, then whispered "peanut butter"! I said "and jam" thinking she was being silly. She said no jam, jusr run peanut butter on tape marks, let it sit for a few minutes and remove with strong paper towel or rag. OMG it worked like a charm! No more tape marks! I wish I had hdad smooth but chunky worked!

baby oil and olive oil work too my esthetician told me that. I was getting my eyebrows done and she always takes a bit of baby oil over the brow when done. she noticed my tape marks on my arm from the IV and asked if I wanted them removed too and it was off with one swipe
