optifast vs boost
I have a friend going through Toronto who said to the surgeon that she heard Optifast had milk in it, and she is lactose-intolerant, and asked for an alternative. Right away, he suggested an alternative 900 calorie diet to her. She starts it this week. The surgeon never told her that Opti-fast didn't contain milk products, and didn't try to force it on her at all.

I don't have problems with lactose, I'm actually allergic to one of the other ingredients, but becaues I'm an allergy anomaly it may be the combination of 2 or more ingredients together that makes it set me off.
And P.S. Glucerna contains milk and soyingredients while boost is gluten and lactose free :)
