Morning all :)

Dreary day here - I'm tired of rain! Having a plastics consult this afternoon with respect to having a panniculectomy done with my hysterectomy.  Sounds fun, don't it? lol  It is so freakin' quiet here in the office as this is the time of year everyone takes vacation in this department, due to Council scheduling.  I think I was actually almost bored yesterday.

Hoping to get more food into me today.  Yesterday went totally downhill and I felt like puking all day and night.  And I couldn't.  And I even tried. lol  I think I've lost my title as barf queen.

RNY 6+ years post-op

B - coffee with milk x 2, 1/2 sesame bagel with cheddar and tomatoes
S - other half of bagel
L - 2 oz swiss, a little salad, poppyseed dressing, 2 oz ham, dill pickle
S - nuttin'
D - beef burger with all the fixings, no bun. Perhaps a piece of potato, I'll see if I can fit it in

Clearly you are enjoying 50 Shades of Grey, and I'm pleased for you.  I would respectfully request that you don't enjoy it quite so much in public. Kthanksbye.

Good luck with your appointment this afternoon!  I'm not arguing against the rain, I missed it last month.  Did a 1.5 hour walk last night, delivering Ikea catalogues.  My boys didn't help as they are spending the week with Grandma and Grandpa.  Actually, the 4 of them are heading to Toronoto today to watch a Jay's game.  Then to the ROM tomorrow as well as do some shopping.  They'll have fun.  So I'll get another 1.5 hour walk on Thursday.

Besides work, not sure what's up for the day.  See as i go.
B - PB&SFJ wrap
S - L. Babybell
L - a bit of macaroni and some tuna
S. - yogurt
D - porkchops with some rice probably. 

Lots of leftovers coming up this week.  Not used to cooking for 2, and I found stuff that needs to be used up sooner than later.

Mornin' everyone!

Hoping to get a walk in this morning - if it doesn't rain.  Housework, dinner in the slow cooker, phone calls and appointments to make for Community Living, then off to work for the afternoon.

I am 3 months post op -  

B - Swiss Oatmeal (WLS for Dummies Cookbook)
S - Babybel Cheese Light
L - Greek Meatballs with Yogurt Sauce (WLS for Dummies Cookbook)
S - seedless grapes
D - Pork Tenderloin and a vegetable

Calories - 732, Protein - 62, Carbs - 44, Fat 25

Had a "meds check" yesterday at the pharmacy and have to change up the timing of my vits - so I will be focusing on doing those at the correct times.

Any suggestions on my diet from the vets?

 A couple of issues -

- moving Calcium Citrate to one in am, mid morning, lunch and mid afternoon (was taking 2 mid morn and 2 mid aft)

- moving Omega 3's to one with each meal and one before bed (was doing 2 in am and 2 at bed)

Also came up with question based on blood work - pharmacist thinks I am not getting enough Vit D

Pharmacist also thinks I can back off from 2 senekots at day to 1 - we will see what the Bariatric Clinic has to say at my 3 mth this Friday.

Thanks for asking - does it seem correct to you?

Hey all - not minding the rain at the moment, but I'm thinking that these last few days have been enough now.
It could quit by tomorrow, and we could get our summer back, and that would be fine with me.
You hear that, God?
Enough with the rain already.

Karen - good luck with your various tummy troubles - sounds like the Doc's are at least taking you seriously and going to work on more than one thing, which could be good  ...

 B - Muesli w fresh strawberries and banana, large coffee
 S - cottage cheese w fresh raspberries
 L - 2 turkey bites, crackers
 S - 21 g cheddar, 1 apple, large coffee
 D - homemade butter chicken w rice and salad

Waiting on photos to post, of me dancing my a$$ off at the wedding this weekend (in a barn in the country) - everyone told me how hot I looked. Yay me!

ewwww... @ 50 shades guy. I'm refusing to read the book on principle, that there are so many well written books i haven't read, that i shouldnt waste my time on that. Plus, i'm sure i could write better porn.

B - egg and egg white on rye toast with a teensy bit of butter
S - turkey pepperette and a half a banana
L - teeny burger on a teeny ciabatta bun, with ketchup and stuff, and the rest of the banana
S - liverwurst on a ryvita krispbread
D - likely another wee burger on a wee bun, or mebbe my version of quick pulled port (which is just some pork loin i've cooked and have cut up in the freezer, with some Jack Daniels bbq sauce, on that teeny bun), and some cut up cucumber or something like that
S - cheese and crackers

i've started going to this FIT (females in training) class after work on tuesdays. Two weeks ago, i could hardly walk, my butt hurt so bad, but last week was better. this week should be even better.

maybe after that, i'll try and write some porn. lol

As a former writer, reading 50 Shades made me cringe way too many times. I KNOW I could write better porn too Monica.

B: Laughing Cow Light Cheese x 2 and coffee
S: Startbuck's sf vanilla latte with protein
L: Leftovers from last night - Pork chop with salad (topped with blueberries and goat cheese....nom nom nom)
S: NSA yogurt
D: sausages with onions and peppers

Went spinning yesterday and walked for 30 minutes. Thinking of weights today. Not sure yet.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
