What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)
Morning all :)
The weekends sure do fly by! Working all day, running some errands and them home to tackle the never-ending pile of luandry. Yay me. No news from OHIP yet, I continue to wait. As an aside, please excuse my typing as I've developed "drop-wrist" again. Grrr...
Anyway:
6+ years RNY post-op
B - coffee with milk x 3, protein shake
S - ham/cheese/pickle roll-ups
L - spinach salad, 3 oz grilled chlcken
S - lilely nothing
D - burger with all the fixings, no bun, lots of veggies

Going swimming at lunch to day. Haven't been for a while so need to get back to it.

l. cottage cheese with raspberries
s. pumkin power bar I made
d. scallops, salad
s. bran power muffin
Haven't worked out the calories or protein so may make some changes later when I have time to check

I am still very food discouraged.... I am seeing carbs(bread etc) creep back in and it depresses me!
I will regain control!!!

b- 1/3c all bran buds, 1/3c 0% fat vanilla yog, and 1/4 strawberries
s- 2 turkey bites, green pepper strips (3)
l- homemade chili 1/2 c.
s- baby bell light and more veg
d- kababs (beef & chicken)
all vits in and water in the form of decaf tea.....I'm cold today!!!
I know its light on protein, I am almost out of the shake powder.... and can never think of anything else to have..... there seems to be times when food is all I still think about and then times when I forget to eat.....
I need people to fill this post so I can get some ideas please!!!! :0

B - Protein Bar, Coffee + Milk (16 g protein, 2 g sugar)
S - sugar free bubble gum, salad + french dressing, 100 cal pack of almonds.
L - Protein Bar (16 g protein, 2 g sugar)
D - frozen Fish sticks & frozen sweet potato fries (heated obviously)
I forgot my lunch and my work - a day camp - got rid of the caterers for the last week, so I was stuck there without food, thank goodness I had a spare protein bar on me!
I found some good protein bars at Costco and also 100 calorie packs of almonds.
The almonds almost came back, but I ran and took 2 papaya enzymes and the stomach settled very fast ! I was very happy.
