Hi Pam, I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from chronic pain. It must be difficult. I'm having more craving (head hunger) these days then before and I know that I've always craved carbs like crazy in the winter, so I only expect it to get worse. I have found the eggface website recipes really useful since I'm eating high protein muffins, cake, pancakes and ice cream when I really want a treat. I can plan these right into my daily meal plan and not feel like they are bad at all. I'm also planning to try out her donut recipe. Maybe you should make some of these kinds of treats and keep them in your freezer for defrosting on days when you have cravings and want to stay on your meal plan.
