I learned a new word today - Intussusception
I just spent 24 hours in the Emerg Department with severe abdominal pain and nausea.
Fortunately for me this was found during a CT scan early out. They were able to manually manipulate and free the blockage today. That does not mean that it will not happen again.
This could have turned into emergency surgery. I have had a lot of abdominal surgeries so a lot of scar tissue and adhesions exist. I have had a couple of other incidents of sever abdominal pain where when I lay down I can see a bulge. I have in the past been able to work out those kinks and the pain subsides.
I also seem to have a recurring hernia in the belly button area.
Don't ignore those symptoms folks.
