Hi Leona, You are definately in good hands with those doc's. Hopefully it is done laproscopically but getting a new healthy stomach is the main thing. Please let us know when your surgery date is once you have it, okay?

Leona we can cry on each others shoulder this weekend. I too am facing the possibility of an open surgery to fix the intussusception at the bottom of the limb from my blind stomach. I already had one emergency repair I think to this same limb 2 days after my RNY 5 years ago.
Oh and I probably have a hernia or my abdominal muscle has splayed apart too.

sorry to hear Linda, I am booked for 18-DEC, I was lead to believe it would be much sooner than originally planned (early January). Guess that is the scurge of today's health care system.
