Curious, why are you doing this challenge? Are you having troubles or just trying to shake things up. I have always found you to be a leader on this forum and after 6+ years your knowledge is very helpful.
I have been trying to aim for a balanced post op diet, whi*****ludes carbs.....please shed some light.

I like to do this challenge every once in a while. Sometimes carbs sneak into my diet and when I feel like I need to cut back on them, I do this for 5 days. I find it very simple and actually enjoy it. Protein, yay! Nope, not having troubles. Just shaking things up a little. :)
Yes, carbs have to be part of your diet - as per your balanced statement - this is simply to get "back on track".
