I am going to NY again next month for black Friday shopping and while I am there I was going to pick up some premier protein bars and I was wondering if anyone else has tired them? or has any other recommendations.

Hi Melissa
Have u ever tried Dr.Bernstein protein bars? Having done the diet several times, I never got tired of them. They are low in calories and sugar, but very high in protein.
They allow you to purchase them even if you are not a client.
Happy shopping!

Sounds yummy.  How much were they?

I'm going for the same thing...and to do my Christmas shopping.  I will have to be on the lookout for some protein bars too, for the journey....I'm still just getting things ready for a surgery date that I don't have yet lol...but I know I will soon :)

I haven't  tried the premier protein bars...let us know if they are any good.

 I usually eat.....

Pure Protein bars (chocolate or peanut butter chocolate, low cost at Walmart)

Quest bars (Popeye's supplements, more pricey but quite healthy with lots of fiber)

Oh Yeah! bars (caramel chocolate, fudge almond brownie or cookie caramel...very tasty but kind of junk food like so I have to be careful with these)

and my newest find, Powercrunch at GNC (vanilla cream is the only flavour I like...it is a totally tasty wafer bar, but its got the lowest protein to calorie ratio and it really is close to junk food...I can only them eat very occassionally).

Do you mean the premier ones from Costco? I have a few of the yogurt peanut crunch ones here if you want to try them first. I find them too dense for me. Let me know if you want to try them and I'd be happy to drop them off to you.

That would be great, thank you so much. I think Sam's Club sells the Vanilla Shakes if you would like a box while I am there, two sizes the single size 14 oz with 30g of protein and a snack size 8.25 oz with 18g of protein.

That would be great Melissa. Pm me your address and I will drop them off and will give you some money to pick me up the shakes.

Thanks

Cher

I love the Premier protein products, the shakes (chocolate) and all of the protein bars.  Out of the bars, I prefer the chocolate covered peanut butter ones.  However, the package has the three flavours in them.  I buy them at Costco.

Happy shopping Mellissa and have fun!  I was at Costco in Barrie  last week and took some time to thoroughly check out the protein bars.  The ones I chose because of the highest protein and lowest sugars were the Pure Protein brand.  There are 4 different kinds in the box and yes they are kind of 'dense' but are a nice treat when food is otherwise unappealing.

Happy Motoring!
