what are you doing/eating today? (sunday)
Oh God Tracey, yes it took forever. I'm sorry to tell you that. My fracture was hairline, and in the middle of the toe. I did tape it to the second one, just to keep it from moving. I was on crutches for a bit, but I think only a few days. The colour of it was crazy purple for a bit, then green and whatnot. The weather was nice, and I wore birks after that. No running shoes for a long time.
:-(

I read to tape it to another toe but not sure what I should do with two of them beside each. I am just keeping it elevated and icing it to get the swelling down. I may have to give in and see a doc as much as I hate to go to ER over this. My family doc lives almost 3 hours from me so don't have much choice but to go there if I can't tolerate it.

It's toe 3 and 4 if you start at the big toe so I can't tape it around the baby toe as it just keeps wanting to fall off. Do you think taping 2 to 4 together would do the trick and maybe a popsicle stick on the other side of toe 4 to keep it secure on that side? I can't put any shoe on at all yet but hopefully by tomorrow I can. Was thinking of putting 2 and 3 together then maybe a popsicle stick on both sides of 4 and then taping it as 3 together might be uncomfortable. I did too much today by doing laundry and my foot is letting me know now. I have it on ice and it's elevated and I don' t plan on getting up unless I have to pee.

Sorry to hear about your toes
Ooooh...it's deadly to have sweets in the house! Reminds me of my yearly Christmas tradition. I buy my mother a box of Turtles every year for Christmas. Well, I buy her several boxes every year. I buy the first one in November sometime, and then I end up eating it. So then the next time I get a chance, I buy another one, and then I wrap it when I get home. Then at some point before Christmas, I unwrap it and eat it too, reasoning that I can always get another one for her.
Finally, usually around Christmas Eve or the day before, I buy the final box, wrap it, and that's the one she gets.
Not this year, though!
