what are you doing/eating today? (sunday)
Hey Kelly....as long as we stick to bites of things....and not too often.....things are usually OK.....its if you find yourself eating crap often...in the place of good food.....or stuffing yourself ....then you need to step back and think about things......don't want to go back to old habits....I think if you find you cant eat a food in moderation....then I would avoid it at all costs.....I don't keep good bread in the house.....I love a crusty bread with cold butter.....I just don't buy it......
Last nights chocolate didn't bother me....cant touch ice creme.....or high fat things as they make me nauseated.....too much sugar mixed with carbs and not enough protein usually gives me RH at some point....so I will watch myself today to ensure I have no problems......but I usually can eat some sugar as long as I stick to my regular eating reginmen....which I do 99% of the time...
I am not a big sugar fan....but occasionally I indulge if I feel like it.....trying to live mindfully.....
I generally feel very in control of food as of late. Better as time goes on even. I eat better than I did a year ago, that is for sure. I think that's funny because I would have thought it would be the opposite.
I'm good with what I ate yesterday. The popcorn was a small amount, the munchies....well they were just there. One square of pizza...instead of 6 like previous. It's all good. And yes, I do have PMS....I do need to remember to factor that in and not beat myself up. Look at what i've accomplished right??
PS - the oatmeal cookies are still here, and I haven't thought about them again. It's like I had my indulgence and that's that. That's a huge milestone for me!

Not thinking about the cookies would be a very big thing for me. I was definitely a cookie monster previously. Right now we have fruit cake and candy which when I am weak call to me. So far I have been pretty good. Stayed up very late last night by myself. I think I figured out why i have been so bummed. Now just need to find a solution. Think I will still talk to someone in January

Weird day yesterday.....got nothing accomplished except a short trip to Sobey's.....just "kicked back" all day.....guess I needed it?? Oh well, when you're "retired", you don't really have too much of a set schedule and can juggle things around pretty easily. (I "feel" for all of you who are still working....sometimes, I don't know where I got the "time" to work?? LOL)
Will have to go "full tilt" today and make up my food menus for the week (NO grilled cheese sammies for me Barb LOL), finish my Xmas decorating, set up my PVR for the week and get some cooking done for my BFF with the shingles (a meat loaf, some Hamburger soup, my "Famous" Bean salad and maybe a casserole?). Thankfully, I don't have any appointments next week so, will be able to get my gift wrapping done and get back to down loading more of my "200" CD's into ITunes....what a Terrific program "that" is....will certainly free up a LOT of storage space!
