Positive thoughts out to you.  Once the 'work' is all complete and especially having the main abdominal muscle repair, you are going to look and feel absolutely like a new person (again).  I am sure it will be worth it in the end.  Speedy recovery.

Best of luck in your up and coming.

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.

Hope all goes well, Linda.  Good luck and speedy recovery.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Hi Linda

I sure understand your anxiety....I think the thought of surgery scares us more ....the more surgeries we experience....

I always find it helpful to project myself past the event that is troubling me.....so in one week you will be home or coming home from the hospital...and on the road to healing.....I hope this thought helps you....it does me

I wish you all the best....and relief from your pain and worry

I am having this surgery done in London at London Health Sciences Centre. My surgeon is familiar with Gastric Bypass and does all of the complex abdominal traumas. I am confident that I will get the best of care.
