Heating Premier Protein..

My new favorite thing is 1 cup of Coffee (tassimo) and I boil 1/2 cup of 1% milk on the stove with some vanilla extract.. SO GOOD!

In the summer months, I make a tassimo coffee the night before, leave it in the fridge and add 1/2 premier protien and top off my portable mug with ice.. much like a Starbucks Frappachino.

I'm thinking of heating the protein on the stove,,, and adding it to the hot coffee... Thoughts?

Wait until its cooled down a bit...if its too hot the protein will curdle.

Do you mean Premier Protein shake? If so, it should be fine to heat up. If you are talking about a protein powder, it will curdle if mixed into hot liquid.

The pre-made ones in tetra packs? I have half one heated then added to coffee every morning. Mmmmmmmm. Sometimes I get a bit of a 'skin' on the top and just scoop it off.

I add the premier protein shake (room temperature) to a large decaf for a cafe mocha.  I do not need to add cream or sweetener.

Hi,

I have been adding both the vanilla and chocolate premier protein into my coffee (usually 3 ounces) every cup.  I don't heat it up and actually take it directly from the fridge once it is open.

I love it!!! I have a tassimo and buy the cafe creama coffee and it is so good with it.
