How does one get under the 200lb mark?
I have been stalled at 201 for nearly 2 months and salivating over the fact that Onederland was only 2lbs away.....frustrating to say the least.....yesterday I got my first bout of a 24 hour sickness since my surgery last January 25th. Since my stomach was only tolerating liquids I stuck to protein shakes and mushroom soup....today when I woke up I jumped on scale and I read those magic numbers of 199.8 but I'll take it....hopefully it helped break the stall that my body has been stuck at!!
Congrats on getting to Onederland! Sorry to hear you were sick. That reminds me of the line in Devil Wears Prada when Emily Blunt's characters says "I'm one stomach flu away from my goal weight"
congrats it will move again..as it has shown you...just remember we shouldn't be entirely focused on the scale
..your clothes and your breathing/health is also a top indicator that you are doing well.
if you are walking more without being out of breath if your pants are now more loose, then you are making progress...scales are NOT the only indicators.
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!

I know I am a creature of habit, and often eat the same things everyday for breakfast and lunch. Maybe try to change it up a little. I know I stalled for about 2 months them lost another 7 lbs and have been there for almost a year.
Good Luck. - you do look GREAT! REALLY!
I know what you are saying Adele, most people are surprised to hear that I am at that weight, my height hides the weight well. Thanks again I appreciate all your support, I would love to lose another 23lbs to get just inside the health bmi, but if I don't I am not going to get obsessed with it. I have not weighed this weight since grade 8 so I am very grateful for the tool I have been given and the results it has helped me accomplish. I am signed up to play soccer with a bunch of ladies on Friday nights and I am going to physio to try and strengthen my core as it is very weak from a car accident 5 years ago that because of my weight I was never able to really get back to my proper form and my body has been compensating for many things. I am hoping to start running once the sidewalks are not going to whip me on my butt...lol. Baby steps for me.
