Recent cost of tummy tuck/abdominoplasty upgrade with Dr. Nanda?

my panni was ohip covered and I was the same as Marilyn, $6550 for Dr. Nanda and $450 for the hospital.  Mine was November, but I have heard hospital was raising fees and it also has to do with how long the surgery lasts in the OR.  IF your TT is going to be a lot it may cost a bit more.  Kouhila Dr Nan's receptionist will let you know the costs when/if you go.

Thanks Dana.  Was that for a TT as well as the breast reduction, or TT only?

Ok so I realize I am so confused lol.. the cost your quoting is the cost that OHIP payed for it or the cost to you above OHIP. Sorry new here but still keeping eye on the end things I will need :).

Definitely will need all I can get I am sure.. definately legs butt tummy and of course the girls for sure :).

They are quoting the cost they paid above what OHIP paid for.  OHIP will only cover the panniculectomy portion if you are approved.  Anything above that, you pay.

I would suggest strongly that you only take someone else's cost as a GUIDELINE..in order for a plastic surgeon to give you a price they would definatly need to see you in person, there are SO MANY different variables when looking at plastic surgery...how the person carries the weight, if the surgery will be difficult because of main arteries etc.

A friend of mine had her surgery done here...not a full TT, but she said that a full TT wasn't necessary...and that's because she exercises and her stomach muscles were all in decent shape..mine are not.

Get a referrral or make an appointment if you are interested in a PS costs...that's the ONLY way to go.

Also keep in mind that OIHIP is becoming tighter and tighter with their purse strings.  There are the (3) check points that you have to have met and if you have had any infection or rashes in the pannus region...you will need to have that information recorded by whichever doctor saw you.  I treated my infections myself.due to being embrassed.that is where I made the mistake

..I was initially DENIED by OHIP for a pannilectomy..after appealing and writing a VERY detailed/personal letter they overturned their decision..to have the additional full TT it will cost me an additional $4,000.

If I can help in anyway, please let me know.

I realize that.  I was trying to get an estimate only.. obviously I would go to Dr. Nanda to get an actual amount.  Just wanted to get a general idea
