Hi everyone,I'll be 4 months post off on March 26th and so far iv lost 76 pds. I started out at 330pds before doing optifast and even then my upper arms had wings but now that iv lost weight they dangle even more and I still have over 100pds I'd like to lose so I'm getting kindof worries of how disgusting my arms are going to be! Does anyone have any advice on how to tone your arms as best I can? And does anyone know what it costs to get the extra skin off your arms removed?

I don't  think there is a lot you can do to tone up that much.

I had a few plastic surgery procedures combined together when I was at goal. I used Dr. Sauceda in Mexico. There is a Dr.Sauceda  group on here that you can join to find out more information.

excess skin on your arms may tone up a bit, look up bicep and tricep exercises on the internet, and try that. I started at 309 lbs, the excess skin on my arms isn't too bad now. Some will "spring back" with time.

Keep your skin moisturized, and build muscle. You don't have to look like a body builder, but the more muscle you have the less loose skin you will have. Most muscle between the shoulder and the elbow is on the back of the arm. This is where to put in most of the work. Shoulders should not be over looked as they too will help to reduce loose skin in that area. I was kinda nervous about this too though I am a guy. My personal trainer taught me a dozen exercises to do for the arms and shoulders that have really made a huge difference and it's really coming along.

So before you get all worked up about another surgery, look into some dumbbells and work those guns!

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.

You can work to tone the muscle and the skin may bounce back some over time.

It will cost somewhere around 6-7K to have the excess skin on your arms removed.

Holy crap!!  $5000 per arm!  that is a very large sum of money.  yikes.....  Sorry, I was just stunned by the cost.  I thought maybe it was $4000 for both, something like that.
