My list for formal wear is much, much shorter than it is for other things.

I need to win LottoMax so I can just... Shop. That or do what about 8 people have suggested in the last 3 weeks. Do the personal shopper thing.

We just got a dress for my kids grade eight grad at David's Bridal of all places. They have info on their website And you can try on gowns. But, they will have to order the dress in. Not sure of your timelines.

Hard to beat Shelly's answer though.

David's is awesome for dresses. I only held off on that one because of the sense of urgency. My friend got her wedding dress from them.

There are many amazing places in Fashion District on Queen West.....Cuter gave an amazing list....

There are many new stores in the Eaton Centre (i live beside it)

also some of the new lines in the Bay are A-MAZING

Yorkville is gonna be TOP TOP dollar....not sure what budget is...but oddly enough a friend of mine just bought a ball gown at WINNERS in Yorkville.....as because that winners is in YORKVILLE.....its also the designer Flagship.....and all BIG DESIGNER NAMES are sold there.....worth a shot...but like any winners...it**** or miss...

Oh forgot about the Winners Yorkville! Yes if heading to the Yorkville area it is worth hitting to check it out. I didn't frequent it previously as I have 4-5 stores in that area which already take a fair amount of my Yorkville time... Nice addition Glen!

I love the Eatons Centre but haven't been in within the last 3-4 months so wasn't sure which of the newer ones have in-stock gowns. Any in particular that you've noticed? Same with The Shops At Don Mills, and Sherway Gardens. *purr* Love them all but am out of touch this year. Darn surgery! LOL!

I love how my workplace is being tossed around as the place to shop!! Yay Bloor-Yorkville area! Come visit me at work if you come to my neck of the woods. We can go to one of the three Starbucks, or one if the three Timothy's, or one of the three Tim Hortons all within two minutes of my office lol

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
