Fit bit
I LOVE mine...but it is quite frankly a case of you have to make yourself move to use it. I have talked to a lot of people (and see from my friend's list on fitbit) that many people don't seem to actually wear them. It's a motivational tool IF you make yourself motivated.
I have the ONE model and I like it because I can clip to my bra discretely or I can wear it outside of my clothing. I like the bracelet but it's not something I'd want to necessarily wear at a high end function. (Not that I go to these often..but I like the flexibility of the One that way). I also like that it has a display (the Flex doesn't and needs a more uptodate phone to display info and my 4G iphone is a bit ancient). To be honest, I rarely use the sleep function which is the upswing of getting the higher models.

I love mine. Like Dawn I have the FitBit One...its my BFF!!!!
I like the "One because it is small enough to fit in my pocket or hide it in my bra or sock etc

Love mine too. I have the ONE, and I like it for the reasons Dawn says - I can clip it onto anything. I know some folks say it's easy to lose when you clip it onto things, but I find mine stays very secure when I clip it either to the pocket of my jeans or the waist of my pants. When I wear a dress, sometimes I'll clip it to my underwear! :) (I don't clip it to the bra, because I always think all that bouncing must add steps, LOL). I don't think I'd want the wrist-strappy one - don't need everyone to see it, it's just for me.

I've been seriously considering purchasing the FitBit Flex ($99 online) but then I read this report in the New York Times, and it's made me wonder ...

I have the basic Zip model and like it a lot. I only use it for step counting, so didn't need the other bells and whistles. I wear mine every day!

I am easily amused by techie items like this. And by pouring over my exercise graphs, numbers, statistics, etc. So in that respect it's a great motivational tool. I've been wearing my One for two months, every day. Worth every dollar. Especially when I'm beating Dawn on the scoreboard. Mwahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Oh also the scale, though not terribly accurate, is pretty cool too.
