OT - opinion on puppy name

we are getting a new puppy on Sunday, he is a little yorkie and we were thinking of the name Optimus, like Optimus Prime on Transformers......  What do you think?

Sounds pretty cool. Unless people call him "opti" . That might bring back some bad memories he he.  

hehe, I hope if people shorten it they call him Timus..

I am afraid the name opti came to me right away. Otherwise a great name

what about Darth Yorkie?   Deceptidoggie?  Voldiyorkie?  I always cheer for the bad guys!  

Honestly..nope. Everyone will shorten it to opti (including you - Timus is counterintuitive).

Other suggestions:

Fidget, Button, Beans, Butch, Chewbacca (Chewy) my yorkie looks a lot like him, Harley, Tank, Cujo, Tate, Zeus, Sumo

My baby's name is Pocket...so that one is already taken

There's always Bumblebee too....can call him BB for short.
