I know there are some books that have been recommended for big the surgery, cooking after, etc... Can anyone give me an idea? Thanks!

This was my bible pre op and now post op. many of us through HRRH love this book. I think every HRRH patient should have this book.

Weightloss Surgery for Dummies is also supposed to be really good. I've got a PDF copy of it, on my laptop. Hoping between the two, I'll be all set. :)

I have both of those books and love them. Some of the recipes are tasty. The recipes in Complete weight lost book even tell you what stage that recipe is recommended for.

Don't waste your money on WLS for Dummies.  It's so outdated it isn't even funny.  If someone has a copy you can borrow fine or if you can get at a library but I read it like 10 years ago and lots was outdated then so it's really bad for now.  Things change quickly in the bariatric world.

You can find everything on line that you need - without having to spend money (save that for plastics)!!

Check pinterest for WLS recipes, bariatric recipes, etc. Tons of people have boards full of really great info that is one click away.

My hubby bought me The Complete Weight-Loss Surgery Guide by Sue Ekserci on EBAY.   It was $16.00 brand new and came from the UK.    I love this book.  :)
