guelph general hospital

hi everyone. I am scheduled to have my rny surgery at Guelph on September 18. wondering if anyone who has recently had their surgery there could tell me about their experience. was the nursing staff efficient and pleasant? were the rooms satisfactory? hot or cold? etc

All of the nurses are awesome, I found. I had an easy time so my stay was pleasant. Lol. I would go to that hospital again if need be.

I am a Guelphie!!! I had an a pleasant experience there. The nurses were awesome!

Guelph General has always been an amazing hospital. I worked there for 5 years, and also had my daughter there. I am looking forward to having my surgery there. They are amazing

thanks everyone. that certainly makes me feel better. tanya- my surgeon is Dr Jules. seems very nice

He is my surgeon as well, you are in good hands.

 

 

I can's say enough about my stay at Guelph. The whole team was fabulous and looked after me very well. I also had Dr Jules and have had no complications (I'm 1 month out).

As far as the room, I was there during the hot spell in July so I brought a fan with me. It was nice to have the air circulating.

do you remember if the rooms were hot Tanya? I cannot sleep in a hot room lol

I actually found the room to be very comfortable. Bring a small fan just to be on the safe side.

I hope to have surgery at Guelph... you all are further along then me so I have no idea .  Please keep me posted on what to expect, is there some sort of check list for the hospital on what to bring and what not to bring?
