More Questions????
I start the puree stage on Thursday, just a few question
1. Can we have homemade chili and beef stew pureed?
2. Homemade hummus?
3. Laughing cow cheese?
4. Scrabbled egg with a little 1% milk? (not fond of poached eggs)
Any other suggestions would be great

I would think all of the above will be alright, just be careful with thchewing the cheese real well. And I would also be careful of the chili (even pureed) there are alot of things that go into a nice pot of chili (or stew), and if you get sick , you will not be sure what it was making you feel terrible. Scrambled eggs make alot of wls people ill, not sure why. Maybe try making them with water, they will be lighter texture and fluffier. Myself I was enjoying poached eggs no problem, then for whatever reason my pouch decided enough of those and I cant keep runny yolk down now at all. Enjoy your food take your time and live and learn, all the best to you
If Im not mistaken I was allowed crackers - saltines at that stage and I liked putting pureed chicken baby food on them. Also cream cheese - the low fat one worked really well for me. Another good thing that I could never find on the shelves was Kozy Shack custard with no sugar. I am in fact still checking out the aisles for that one. I pureed some veggies and froze them in an ice cube tray.

Kozy Shack are always in the refrigerated section. I have seen quite a few different flavours of the no sugar added ones by them such as rice pudding, creme brulee and perhaps others. Not a fan of pudding type stuff so forget which ones they have but they often have quite the variety.
It depends on what clinic your going through at Guelph we were not allowed beef or any red meat for 6 months.
Your clinic should have given you a guide on what your able to eat in the pureed stage. Just remember to chew, chew, chew and when your not eating sip, sip, sip! Eggs didn't agree with me till about 10 months out, but everyone is different. You might be surprised how your taste buds have changed since surgery, things I used to really enjoy before I don't care for anymore.
Greek yogurt with fresh fruit became my best friend! Good luck and keep us posted!
