Gallbladder v RNY?
Isn't it funny that each person is so different? Some say RNY was worse, some say gallbladder, and some the same. Gallbladder wasn't bad at all but it did take about a month before I really felt like myself again. I guess I am just trying to prepare myself for the surgery by comparing it to something I have already experienced.

I still have my gallbladder, but I know the woman who wa sin the next bed to me, had her RNY and gallbladder and she was in a heap of pain..I luckily got up walked, walked, walked and have had no issues in the past 4.5 years..
My surgeon stated prior to surgery that he would decide when he was (in) whether the gallbladder would come out and wouldn't remove it unless absolutly necessary because that would add another 1.5+ hrs to the surgery.
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
