Having a Low Day
When I was on Opti, I found I knew when I didn't drink enough water (even though it felt like I did) as the weight didn't come off. How much water are you drinking in a day? I ended up carrying a water bottle with me everywhere that way I remembered to drink and drink and drink (this helps with after surgery as well). Exercise as much as you can and keep doing what you're supposed to be doing. Believe in yourself each day as the surgery will help you with your weight loss.
Good luck!
PS--don't be sorry for venting...we all need to do it at one point in time
Depending on which hospital you are having the surgery at, you can also have sugar free Jell-O and Chicken Soup broth. If you are feeling hungry you might not be getting enough Opti/Water/Soup broth. You are not doing anything wrong and maybe just need to be patient. The surgery will definitely help, you just need time! Hope this helps. Have a great day and don't be too hard on yourself!

Not seeing the scale move can be discouraging. The surgery will help you lose, the opti might just not be for you. Often when people lose weight on opti it is fluids. So if you were cutting down before the opti you may have already lost the weight you were going to lose on opti. Just keep your eye on the prize. A health liver!
