Now I know why they tell us not to drink alcohol (besides the obvious reasons). Anniversary last night and I had a "nice size" glass of wine with my husband. Wow! Hit me so hard! I think I'll leave that alone for a while yet!

Oh no! I heard alcohol was brutal after. I haven't drabk cause of co-morbidities for bout 2 yrs now, but i was looking forward to a glass wine once I was all healed up. Then I heard how much it effects you. Hope you feel ok

I have had one drink since surgery..I drank it slowly and I did notice that I was buzzed after one drink. BUT then I drank a bottle of water right away and it washed all the "drunk" feeling away pretty much right away.
