Vitimins and minerals post op
Thanks.
I bought centrum senior 50plus. Been taking that for the last couple months. Just to get used to taking it. I know after surgery it will be twice a day. I
I was thinking of taking 1 in the morning and 1 before I go to bed. Would that's work? Cause I feel it probably be the most consistent

Hiya,
Please note that the calcium needs to be split into 3 servings of 500 to 600 mg each. Our bodies do not absorb it all at the same time so you need to space them out during the day. I take a senior multivitamin (no iron) so I supplement the iron separately. Here is my plan each day:
7 a.m. - 1 multi, 1 B12 sublingual, 2 calcium citrate with Vit D
10 a.m. - 1 iron (Feramax) - 1 vitamin C (not necessary)
1 p.m. - 2 calcium citrate with Vit D
5 p.m. - 1 multi, 2 calcium citrate with Vit D
8 p.m. - 1 iron (Feramax)
I purchase all my vitamins at Costco....WAY CHEAPER.
