Off to see Dr Nandagopal today!

I am sooo excited!! 

I am getting ready to go see Dr. Nan to find out when I am having my plastics surgery! Or, I should say, this is the appt that I think he will tell me everything anyways.

I have met with him already, once almost 3 yrs ago and most recently in Sept. His assistant "interviewed" me, measured everything, and we discussed a few things, he took a few pictures and off I went. 2weeks ago I got the call to come in.

My only real question will be, how much time will I get off?? I am going for my panni, tummy tuck and breast lift. I was hoping for 10weeks or so. I am a cleaner in a hospital and don't want to risk getting ANY sort of infection or damage anything by the heavy lifting I do. I don't have "modified" work that I can do. All the ladies that I clean their houses, are really excited for me too and completely understand that I will be taking some time off. I have kept them in the loop and it will be easier in the winter for them to tidy their houses til I am ready to return. They are all way to busy come the spring (til fall) time. 

Well, I better finish getting ready. Let you know what happens when I am done!! WOOT!!

I am a PSW and when I had my breast reduction I was off 6 weeks, seeing as your having so much more done I would think at least 8-10 weeks.

This is all a new process to me, just waiting to hear back with next set of appts after the info session.

yes, I am paying out of pocket. The panni part of my surgery is covered by OHIP but not the tummy tuck and breast lift... He said that I am quite lucky! I am getting a good cost. It's a very expensive surgery, $26,000 but I am paying waayyyy less, he was even shocked, to say the least. 

I'm curious about the cost as well if you are comfortable sharing that

My out of pocket is still expensive but soooo worth it ... $9000 and I have to try to save up for my living expenses a bit, can't totally rely on EI cuz I will get half of what I make

Do you know how that splits up between your tummy and breasts lol.  He is the doctor I want to go to when my times comes, but realistically I'm thinking I will only be able to do my tummy.  Oh and I heard if you get a breast lift you lose a cup size, please tell me that's just a vicious rumour ;)
