Hi yoyo....I developed a stricture about 4 weeks post op. At first I was experiencing the sensation of having swallowed a huge air bubble anytime I ate or drank anything. That lasted for a few days despite how slow I ate and drank..Then I started to not tolerate the foods I have tolerated since day one (again, it was taking me close to 90 minutes to eat meals). I began with vomiting about 10-20 minutes after eating anything. I called my surgeon who say to rest my pouch for a few days and just take fluids..well for the next 24 hrs, I couldn't keep anything down..not even fluid. So I called him back a day later and he suggested I come in for an endoscope. So I ended up having an endoscope when they discovered the stricture and they were able to dilate it. When I woke up in recovery, I instantly knew that something was done because I felt sooo much better. I am now almost 2 months out and have been fine ever since. Best of luck.

It certainly sounds suspicious anyway. ..don't go to long before contacting your surgeon as you being able to comfortably get in food and liquid is so important. Best of luck!
